Personally I think is fine, as long as it isn't beating. I was ed as a child and I am just fine. I think that the right ages are from around 3 to 10. Any situation that arises when your child is being bullheaded you can threaten a , but then actually follow through if he doesn't listen. I do believe that you should do everything in your power to avoid a though. Talk to the child first, then if they don't listen, warn them where their headed, then if needed- follow through. I basically discovered my pion walking the path you are taking. I educated myself in International Law and Relations with advanced degrees. But, I found "doing" it not to be self-satisfying, fulfilling nor exciting. Although I appreciate my education and the experiences I had working in the field, it became something I just did to earn my keep. Ironically, part of the reason I went into the field in the first place was because I was taking a different path than my families back ground. My Papa was a master wood carver, cabinet maker, wood worker and owned a business in interior design making high end furniture and designs. My parents went into real estate rennovations of historical buildings and the two businesses worked together profitably. As a child, I was put to work for the family business scrapping paint off floors and banisters, cleaning up the wood shop, refinishing br doorhandles, drawer pulls, antique and vintage accessories, chandeliers and doing a lot of grunt work. I was the first person not only to go to college, but also to earn advanced degrees. When I met my husband, he owned an art gallery and an interior design firm. I began to work doing adminstrative, financial and contractural work for his businesses and soon discovered that I really did have a pion for it that I'd long forgotten. Sometimes you rekindle fires that are still in you simply by expanding your skills, knowledge and abilities in different directions. I found that education helps you do that. You can take cles online, through community college or even the recreation department in your city to learn new skills or pursue interests. As you do, you will find that pion, that thing that keeps your mind working creatively and that you cannot stop thinking about. You will know when you have found it when it doesn't seem like work and when you would do it without being paid because you love doing it so much.

here's the deal, we've been together since I was 14 years old, i'm now 31, he is an ok guy, he does some stuff well, but i am forced to do the majority of the work in the relationship (i.e. pay all the bills, do all the laundry, wash 95% of the dishes, 95% of the cleaning up, take care of the animals, make his doctor appointments, attend his doctor appointments, go to the store for all errands- he won't go alone, keep things going in the bedroom and work a full time job) He is also very selfish in the bedroom, often my needs are not considered at all, usually only once a month or less, although we have at least twice a week. I make an effort to do things that he enjoys, in the bedroom and as far as social activities, but he does not make the same consideration. Okay, so myself and my other 2 apartment mates are above the age of 21. We already signed the lease for our apartment, and paid first and last month, through the realtor agency that was in charge of the apartment. Now our landlord is claiming that we did not pay last month (thankfully, we have a receipt so this isn't so much an issue as an annoyance), and also stating that we need to sign a "Parental Gaurantee" form. There was no mention of this in the lease we signed. And we are all over 21. Is this legal, do we HAVE to do this?

it could be down to the depression or anti-depressants, stress etc can cause your periods to stop. i suggest you go back to the drs and ask them to do something, maybe going on the pill might help as it will 'force' your body to regulate a cycle, or they can give you something to sort out your hormones and make them come back. but if your happy to not have them then dont worry about it just let your body do things its own way. it might be an idea to get checked and find out the real cause, as i have PCOs and have periods every 3 months roughly so you could have something similar if its not depression related. good luck.

Psp wont turn on!?

Ok here's the deal: i wasn't home and my sister was playing "Burnout" (which is a really good game btw) and from what i understand she was playing with the charger plugged in and the psp turned off.She said that she left it ther to charge for a while. she came back to play it again and it wouldn't turn on and the yellow light wouldn't even turn on, in fact none of the lights will turn on. How do we get our almost 8 mo old son to sleep better at night?

He takes 2 naps during the day for about a total of 3 hours. He usually goes down at night by 9:30, gets up around 8:15 am. Lately he has been getting up at least 2 times during the night (usually to feed.) Recently he has started crying when we put him back down at night. For a while he was only getting up 1 time to feed, then would promptly go right back to sleep. He gets plenty to eat during the day, about 2 jars of Stg 2 food plus some oatmeal or small pieces of fruit or veg and feeds 3-4 times and has recently started taking less (5-6oz) of formula/milk combo in bottle. He used to take a full 8oz. His recent night habits have been starting to interfere with my husband's sleep who really needs his sleep to function at work. I am mostly a stay at home mom who does the majority of the during the night duties. I really don't think I could get him to eat any more during the day since he already is a chow hound! Any suggestions??

Wondering about a bike helmet for toddler?

Hi, we're buying my daughter a tricycle for her 2nd birthday in a few days. Since we live in upstate NY, she won't be able to ride it outdoors until May or so. I am on the fence about whether to get a helmet now or wait until spring time and take her with me to get one to make sure it fits properly. I'm thinking she doesn't need one indoors (we have carpet) but another part of me doesn't want to fight the battle of her not understanding why she has to wear one when it comes time to ride outside. Maybe by then, she'll be old enough to understand that when she rides outside, she has to wear one, since we will keep the tricycle outside once the weather breaks. Any ideas?

What could these noises be?

I live in a 120 year old house with a chimney, and in all the rooms that border onto the chimney (my bedroom and the bathroom) there is weird noises, like someone pulling a few bricks out of the wall. I have a neighbour which shares the chimney, and she is about 80-85. Its only sometimes, like three or four times a day and theres half an hour full of noises like someone is pulling bricks out of the wall adjacent to mine. It also sounds like they're throwing the bricks down the chimney as well. The chimney is clear and on my side, boarded up. Its not birds, but it could be rats on my neighbour's side. ok Here is the deal. I'm sixteen years old (male), around 5'11. weigh about 150 pounds. I have lost 20 pounds in the last year but I still want to try to go down maybe another 15 or 20. Mainly I just have some fat around my stomach and chest area (man ). I'm very athletic as I play Soccer and crew in high-school. During the summer I have been running at least 2 miles everyday, and can run a mile in like 6:45. I try to do 200 sit-ups and 100 push ups everyday as well. In addition to this I eat healthy and don't eat/drink junk food. For a 16 year old teen I don't eat a lot too. So my question is can i realistically get skinny like all of my other friends and clmates by September? (2 months) Should I do more of the same? Should I just eat even less? For all you golfers: how can I cure an iron "hook" and a wood "slice"?

I am baffled as to why my irons nearly always send the ball to the left while my 22 degree, 25 degree, 3-wood, and driver nearly always send the ball to the right. I have tried a stronger left hand grip for the 22, 25, 3-wood, and driver...doesn't consistently correct the problem. I have tried altering the distance I stand from the ball. I have tried ball placement....further front, further back. I have tried leveling my swing. I have tried a more upright swing. Nothing works consistently. I suspect it may have to do with the length of the shaft....irons are shorter than the 22, 25, 3-wood and driver...so it probably boils down to a swing change. But what exactly needs to change in the swing to compensate for that difference?

They both have there ups and downs as well as any other brand but then again they are both fantastic gps units, but me I would depend on Garmin if I did happen to get in a situation.
