I had my doug fir trees milled 2 years ago into 1"x4"x9' planks.?

I am going to have them tongue and groved & planed . What is the best way to install them on the sub floor? I have about 1000Ln ft. As in what is the best kind of nailer to use. Also Do I need to put down a vaper barrier?
