How has the AARP been able to enact social change?

AARP does not do anything but sent you junk mail everyday..and sent you stuff from other insurance companies that are too expensive to start with they don't give you any discounts on anything and you just get a free magazine every month and if anybody join them they are wasting their money on them..=) TMO
