Do we (the boxing fans) make Boxing in our "reality" and our "world" be bigger than it really is?

Honestly I am fine with this, I don't watch fighters because they are popular or fights because of the hype surrounding it, I watch them because I love to watch boxing, I don't rally care whether it is all that popular because it is what I like.
