Did WWI or WWII have a larger impact on global society, economics, and politics?

I would think WW2 because it took nations out of the Great Depression like the USA. After WW2, they realized there needs to be a new League of Nations that can actually USE and ENFORCE actions made by them because the League of Nations prior to WW2 had no real power. It also swifted powers from the Europeans to USA and USSR and brought imperialist Japan to a halt of dominance.
